Electrical issue - help needed.

    I have a 2011 model FatBob.
Took the bike out this morning and all was fine, then I decided to catch up on a few jobs.
Decided to change the headlight over to an LED one.
Lifted tank, disconnected headlight, swapped them over, reconnected.
Then I changed my brake master cylinder.
Disconnected front right indicator under the tank, loosened switch housing, removed master cylinder, replaced with mew one, refitted indicator.
Once all that was done I checked it all out and the headlight is fine but I now have no rear light, no horn and no indicators - although they do flash when the immobiliser kicks in.
The starter switch is fine and kicks the engine over.  The high/dip switch on the headlight is also working fine.
The left switch block was not disturbed, so the horn issue is elsewhere in the system.
The fuse marked 'lights' is fine.
I replaced the old headlight and that didn't solve anything either.
Where do I look next?  Have I dislodged another connector somewhere?

    Thanks.

That would be the first thing to check, seeing as the right hand stuff is OK. but you say the dip switch is working.
I'm at work so cant check, but could be two plug connections for the LH switch block, can't remember from my bar swap 100 %
What LED headlights did you fit  btw ?

How did you get on bleeding the brakes with the ABS ?

HI Ken,  thanks for your reply.
I bought some lights from EBay.  They are even e marked and compliant!
I use a vacuum bleeder, but the bike doesn't have ABS as it's too old.

Electrical problems, I am  of no help to you, sorry.
But am curious. Also purchased on eBay  LED headlights (Road Glide= so two) very easy install, but am not happy with low beam, as seems to have no guts in it, High Beam very impressive. How is your take on, Low and High Beams?
As said before, with electrical issues, always look at the easiest and work up-down from there.
Don't get me started on ABS, which as stated you do not have. Lucky me- have I have a 2012 model.......
Guess is double edged. ABS has proven it's assistance is invaluable. But at what price, life is not cheap in Aus. anyway, but shit I'd rather bleed my own brakes than pay the Harley accredited, ABS brake Bleeder apprentice.....
Evidently, you have to get with the program, ABS HD bleed or suffer severe braking issues..
Bull fucken shit, ways around anything.
Anyway, good luck with the electrical issue, patience with that shit, I have been told, is a start.

Hard to give much of an opinion on the lights as yet.  They certainly appear brighter in the garage, but that's as far as I've got so far.
I also have a Ducati Scrambler which has ABS.  The braking power is impressive compared to the FatBob, but it is also a much lighter bike.  Luckily I haven't had to touch the brakes on that one yet.

FatRob, have you checked your two main handlebar plugs?
They are tucked in the frame behind the big rubber grommets on either side just back from the neck.

Try replacing your key fob battery - I cannot explain why but I had similar issues with brake/indicators recently, couldn't figure it out after checking everything: replaced the button battery for $5 and it all started working fine :)

Worth a try.  Thanks for the suggestion.
