G'day all, I bought myself a 2018 Road Glide about 6 months ago and thought I should introduce myself as I have been reading these forums for a while! I'm from the Riverina in NSW. This is my second harley, first was about 12 years ago (nightster) which I didn't keep for long and have had a few different bikes in between. I wanted something comfortable to rack up some km's, and I think I have the right bike for it, made a few little changes so far, hard lowers, freedom shield from USA, docking system and sissy bar, heated grips, saddlebag guards and the latest was the addition of 13 inch IKON rear shocks.

Welcome Chris. Nice bike. I do think the higher screen and hard lowers set it off. AND it’s black.

Thanks guys, yes there was only one 2018 Road Glide on the showroom floor so I didn't get much choice with the colour! I also bought from Canberra HD. The saddlebag guards were just cheap ones off eBay, cost me $176, they look good enough to me though. The hard lowers were also eBay cheapies for around $280. I test rode the ultra and I did like the seat on that (I think thats the sundowner?) but I ended up taking mine to a bloke in Goulburn who re upholster's motorbike seats, he added some extra foam, it's better than the original but not sure if it's going to allow me to do big days without getting uncomfortable.
