Hi all. Anybody tried a sundowner seat on a deluxe? 

Hi Daffy, do you have TC or M8 Deluxe?  I see you’re not too far out of town, have you tried that seat from Peter Stevens, they usually have or can get a loaner for you.

Not the same bike, but I have a Sundowner with backrest on my 2012 FatBob and find it pretty darn good, miles better than the stock seat.

i have the sundowner that i use on my sport glide, its as comfortable for me as the rider as the original seat but according to wife its better for her as pillion, but thats understandable as the original isnt as wide or thick as the sundowner  ... however .. the fit is pretty ordinary to be honest as id does not fit anywhere near as good up to the tank as the original and an ugly bolt is visible when i use it .. im not sure if it was designed for this bike specifically or just a softail in general as it was supplied from new by the hd dealer.

Well I tried the Sundowner and it is no good for me. Sits me a lot further back and being a shortass very uncomfortable. Great tip about the demo seat or I would've blown $550. Just sticking with standard for now.
