    Lads and Ladetts,
With the demise of the Supertuner, anyone using the Maximus Tuners? I was thinking of buying the Dynojet Power Vision!

Looking into tuners myself at the moment. Maximus came with the bike when I purchased it, if I knew then what I know now I would've went for a Power Vision (if HH give you that as an option?). I was more concerned about other goodies and over looked that detail. Learnt a bit from threads and the lads here about tuners, need to know a lot more!
*Maximus you need a PC, software and a USB key/dongle I believe, correct me if i'm wrong?
*Power vision is ready to go out of the box so to speak. PV $399USD from Fuel Moto with life time support with free canned maps for any upgrades.

Whoa up bro, you have a good unit, all the good ones need a computer, PowerVision, TTS, SEPST etc, what you have there is a powerful well supported system, learn it and reap the benefits. I've not used it myself but have done a bit of reading on it, the company that make it are big in the tuning game.

you can "tune" without a PC with PV. Although I'd have no hair left if going down that road. I think I've only used quick tune maybe less than 5 times ever.

Alpha N versus Speed Density, there is no comparison in ability but lower end density makes N look good.

Righty ho then.......I did a little bit of reading on it, but were heading towards a PV. More than happy for you to educate me on the Maximus direct link system. I'll do some more reading as well.
Other than the maximum tuner what do you need to be able to use it: Windows PC, key, cables and direct link software?

    Cheers

No key, Maximus is stand alone married to one bike, cable should of come with it, if not demand it, it comes in the box, yep windows, 90% of the world use it, apple is for the other 10% that seem to want to cut their nose off to spite their face, that includes most of my family...weirdos!
You can download all the software using your Maximus as the "key" so to speak, tell you what, if it supports ABS  I'll buy one, don't be put off mate, it's better than what I have.
