    Little off topic, but the Veterans and the Vietnam Vets, are they the same group? Recently had a young bloke on a honda wearing Veterans MC patches ask me for some directions, all the 'veterans' mc guys I've ever seen were old dudes.

    The Vietnam Veterans have been around since that conflict, hence the name. At that time it was basically the only recently ended conflict and without much support like minded individuals formed the club with chapters in several states.  Only Vietnam Veterans could join.
    Then with many new conflicts there was a proliferation of ADF veteran clubs that were either selective or all inclusive. The member of the Veterans would be from one of these newer clubs. These clubs are for serving ADF personell as well as veterans who have left the Forces.
