I'm lucky to have heated grips on one of the bikes. If I get real cold, I put my hands in my pockets. Makes texting a bit harder though.

MEB7219 is the correct part # i've been told.

about $150 delivered to my door from the states.
    tried glove liners, no good
    heated grips, about $500, installed

What about heated gloves?  about $250-$300 so a happy median.

I got heated gloves and jacket liner for about $500. Gloves plug into jacket liner which plugs into a lead coming out of the battery. Gloves are about $250 which isn’t much more than a normal good quality pair of gloves.  Easy to use and very effective. Can turn heat up, down and off very easily. No more bulky underclothes, sweating etc. Have ridden from Melb to Canberra in middle of winter on a cold blustery day where windchill was about zero degrees all day and colder as I approached Canberra in the dark. Legs were still cold but hands and core were cozy

They probably just can't be stuffed looking  at turn signal setup

What year springer, all stock handlebars etc

don't think it's the indicators ( they have a cut out for that )
been told it's the hydraulic clutch.
don't think thats true, heaps of bikes with that setup.

I have not personally bought or used their gear a couple of people in my local HOG chapter are raving about this place:

    https://www.zarkie.com.au/?fbclid=IwAR31U8-B8gDeIMf7JMstnm8_dg6lBvV1spbk8DThDFdiy0oro4JPpB8QiB0
As I said I have no personal experience (or relationship) with the company however feedback from members who have used them have been very positive

That's the same kit that I have and posted about. Zarkie gave me a retail store location in Melbourne because Im not comfortable spending a heap of cash without seeing the gear first, trying it on etc.

if so, what brand ? where to buy ? any issues etc ?
looking at MEM7217, unsure if they'll fit my CVO Springer 2008.
    thanks

Back in the early 80s, I was working as a motorcycle courier in Melbourne. We were using "Bar Muffs" from memory. They were a big fur lined plastic or leather Mitten velcroed to our handlebars, They were ugly as sin, fairly inexpensive and mostly effective. They were big enough to easily swallow a winter lined heavy glove.

Still see the uber eats scooters getting around town with those things now! They look hilarious...

I did say they were as ugly as sin. but you can have them on in minutes and off in seconds.

I have a pair of Andy Strapz over gloves. Great to keep hands warm and waterproof. I use with my summer gloves.

went for a 45 min ride this morning, about 9'C
had the gloves on medium heat, back of the hands nice, fingers/thumb so so.
all in all, ok, the cables are a pain.
see how they go for the Brass Balls Ride in July

travelled through tamworth/west wyalong/ tocumwall last few days, fingers froze and have good winter gloves and used my old inner gloves that are fine metal thread woven in cloth, put them between the cylinders and warm them up then away you go ,warm fingers but it was that cold that they lasted 10 minutes till cold again.we are going to look into muffs/bar mits and dont care what they look like if we can have reasonably warm hands.
