So it looks like this concept bike is now set to enter full production. Can’t confirm if this it’s it’s final form, but we’re looking at an 1800cc Boxer stuffed into what looks like the bastard lovechild of a breakout & a triumph bobber. Interesting addition to the category, and also interesting that BMW are keen to jump back into the cruiser & bobber scene. HD Forums Australia - 5F957541-E864-4139-BBFD-44357E823D64.jpeg

+1, it doesn’t WOW me, but I don’t hate it. I wasn’t keen on the triumph bobber when it first released but I love them now. Strong Competition = better quality Harley’s. More the merrier.

The big problem BMW boxers have, and Guzzi's is that due to the engine configuration it is really difficult to put forward controls  on them.
Who wants a laid back style bike, when your feet are sitting centimetres below your arse?. Unless you are a dwarf.

this would be about the only issue ATM.
it's the best looking bike seen for years.

the option is to have highway pegs mounted under the cylinders to allow the legs to stretch out.I've got them on my R1200R.If this concept is right BMW are not using the latest shift cam water cooled.

I'll wait for the production version to comment.Once you add indicators, number plates mirrors, taillights etc the cool factor from the photo may be eroded?
