This question is not bike related, but I know I will get the right advise on here.
I buy genuine Stihl 16" 0.325 62 chain saw blades for my Stihl wood boss MS250 and resharpen about 30 times until the teeth disappear
The Stihl blades cost $48.00 Alice springs
eBay: blades cost $15.00 the seller bringbrightness Located: Athelstone, South Australia, eBay item number:292715839970

My question: Has anybody tried this cheaper blade and any advise
    Cheers bloodog

I dealt in chainsaw stuff many moons ago and am a huge fan of Stihl chain.  You get what you pay for no doubt.
Carlton and Oregon chain is not too bad if you can buy it a bit cheaper.
Would depend a lot on what sort of wood you are cutting too, some of it is bloody tough stuff and needs a hard chain, no need to tell you that I imagine.  Cheaper chains tend to be not as hard and blunt easy.
Have a look at the link below, these guys are in Victoria but I know they have shops/store elsewhere e-bay included.  Maybe try one as they are pretty cheap and if its shit, ditch the idea.  Can actually buy rolls of chain fairly cheap from them and all the gear needed to cut and join it.
They have some good stuff very cheap.  I haven't tried the chain myself as yet.
Tungsten carbide chain is pretty tough too.  Exy and generally needs correct sharpening tools as well.
    Good luck.
    Edit !!
Just saved my post and saw speedzter also mentioned jono and jono maybe we are onto something.

    Hey mate.
Spoke to a bloke today who uses the Hurricane chain supplied by jono and johno and cuts a shit load of wood with them,  says they are great and highly recommends them. My brother got some the other day too for something like 20 bucks each. Rates them highly too. Might be worth a try after all ol mate semi chisel the pick of the bunch.

Only ever use Stihl on my ms390 bloodog and always give it a sharpen before she gets blunt.

If you come across a blade that's as good and cheaper let us know!
