It looks like the work on the new shop at Savage Suzuki is underway. There is a banner outside saying "Highway Harley Davidson" or something like that. I guess it'll be open in the New Year.

More than likely its a team moto owned shop

It has all taken far too long I think. Widely known well before August .

How much "business" have they lost in the long delay ?

Should have ben ready to pick up the Frasers showroom and workshop traffic almost instantly I would have thought.

Still what do I know ? SFA most likely ( Scottish Football Association !)

Highway Harley-Davidson due to open next month (February), with shop fit-out nearing completion. Corner of Stanhope Gardens and Great Eastern Highway in Midvale (Previously Burson Auto Parts). Australia’s newest H-D dealership by Savage Motorcycles, with Bunbury H-D in the South West to reopen in a new location shortly.

Bunbury to re-open!! That's news. I thought Perth HD closed it to open the one in Rockingham. So they will have 3 dealerships in WA. Monopoly..

You’re partly correct. Sorry if I confused you. The mob that own Perth H-D closed Bunbury (South West) H-D awhile back and have since opened Rockingham H-D in it’s place.
Frasers was purchased by Savage Motorcycles and as previously mentioned setup shop in the other unit within the same building in Midvale (Midland). Now KTM/Suzuki dealer in Bunbury is doing the same which without my knowledge I’d safely assume is affiliated with Savage, correct me if I am wrong.

Frasers Morley operation had been a Nissan dealership until the early 90's

The new Midland shop is not affiliated with the Perth HD "chain" as far as I know.

I certainly hope not ! Competition improves the breed

No Savage Motorcycles (Midvale) is locally family owned and not part of the other franchise.
Bunbury H-D is opening in a new location under new ownership which I’m assuming is linked to Savage merely because they’re a KTM/Suzuki dealership much the same as Midvale with the announcement timing etc.

My memory may not be the best ?.......................I recall a Highway Harley Davidson dealership in Perth many years ago on Albany Hwy in Kenwick ?...............like mentioned earlier competition is good for the customer

Yes there was indeed another Harley dealer south on Albany Highway. I bought my first 1995 Dyna from them new.

In reality they were just a 'sub-dealer" for Frasers and got all of their bikes and parts from Frasers.

This allowed Frasers to dominate WA , indeed Frasers supplied every other WA dealer with bikes and parts.

    Geraldton/ Kalgoorlie/Albany ( and probably more !)

Happy days for Frasers then , importer/distributor/retailer all at 100% full retail price.

NOT the business model of the last few years !

    This is true.
“NF Imports” was the main supplier of all HD accessories

Then came Cassons who also owns MCAS.
But seems to dropped off with what they have. I like easyR.com.  Brilliant to deal with.

Frasers dominated NSW as well back in the day. I remember looking for a part @ Sy's when they were at Moorebank and the delivery time was 2 weeks as they did not have it in stock and had to get it from Frasers. Popped over to Frasers (20 klms away) and got it straight away.

I am pretty sure that MCAS are part of the Team Moto group (or whoever the equity group that owns them is) now.
