Well my very trusty and long serving boots finally bit the dust after 9yrs, 4 USA a Canada and 60k around Aust last week with part of the sole splitting. I always had a preference for a waterproof hiking boot but decided on a dedicated bike boot.

Thats why the cowboys are slipping down the ladder, they are lazy, google the picture. And yes they are waterproof so will be able to grow a pot plant or something from them if i cant get on with them. LOL

I just bought a pair of fxd's to wear around my farm. They are that comfortable I now wear them as riding boots.

I have always worn the longer type of boots but bought a pair of the Alpinestars are couple of years ago to use on my XR. They are so comfortable I now wear them on my Springer as well
