Self cancelling indicators not working

Howdy. First post so be gentle.
So I swapped out my stock mini Apes for 1.5 inch drag bars on my 2015 Dyna street bob and apart from it looking much better now my self cancelling indicators won't self cancel. Also I have now noticed a buzzing/ringing noise when using my front brake. Not sure if both issues are related but they weren't there before the handlebar swap.

I have searched far and wide online and also the Manual but can't seem to find anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thankya

Nice bike. Welcome to the forum.
It has been suggested on other Harley forums that the turn signal fluid be checked and or torque the signal bulbs to 35ft/lbs

Is the speedo working? I understand there may be a speed / distance / lean component to the cancellation

I already checked the signal fluid and it was unusually low so obviously topped that up.
Speedo and everything else works fine.

Does anyone know where the location of the self cancelling indicator module is located?

Get a service manual as that will show where and the cable layout.  Odd as the cables on my Sporty bars only activate the indicators while the self cancelling is under the bike near the rear wheel

search the manual for 'TSM'.  They are normally located behind the splash guard in front of the rear wheel.  Its a 1" wide by about 4" long module.

Since it happened after you fitted other bars,  there is a chance you may have shorted some wiring causing the TSM to be damaged.
Or perhaps the speed input to the TSM has become disconnected when you were pulling on wires.
Strange your manual doesn't show circuit & location of TSM??

    Arrr, the old TSM.
Does it stand for Turn Signal Manual type.
    As in hand actions...

Are the indicators just starting by themselves, is it one side or both ? Or do they turn on as normal bit just never stop automatically ie. you have to manually push the button again.
Pinched wire in the switch block, or something perhaps.

Pull the cable and inspect the switch block wiring and the cable run  for damage.
If you didn't remove the master fuse or disconnect the battery you may have zapped somehing.

It’s funny you mention that. I had troubles disconnecting the batter due to the security system so I ran the gauntlet. If I did zap something where would I start trying to resolve the problem?

I 'think' the TSm also doubles as the Security bit as well.  Not 100% sure though.  It should be in the manual.

He says nothing about anything in his manual, what kind of manual is that?

Your manual should have walked you through on doing a battery disconnect.
On mine you have to have the ignition on and the fob close so the security system is unarmed, then you pull main fuse and disconnect the ground lead. Siren goes off is the system is armed, as you probably found out.

If you answer the questions I asked that would help in problem solving the issue, as it is a little unclear what is actually going on at the moment with the  system.

If they are not coming on by themselfs but just failing to auto cancel when operated  it well could be you have toasted the control unit.

Original post says "self cancelling indicators won't self cancel".

Thanks for all your help but unfortunately I was unable to determine the problem. The bike is going into the dealership for it’s first major service this weekend so I will provide another update once know.
    Thanks again

Can anybody explain how the self cancelling thing works? I have an intermittent problem with my right blinker (every couple of years it stops working for a few days then starts working again) A bit weird but that's what it does.
Is it an electronic thing or a mechanical thing? Sure as shit it will happen again so where should I  be looking?

Do you mean both right indicators?
Does the right dash indicator light?
