Should of put a 114 in the Sportglide, call it an S or whatever, it would sell.

    +1 on this.
Oh and colour match the bags, and add a taller screen.

Probably see how it goes with the 107 and intro the 114 as an option or fancy version of the bike the year after to push along sales.
Could be worth waiting 12 months?

So I have ordered both the forward controls and S&S super street race 2-1 for the FXDRS, originally I had ordered the street version until I found out it had a cat in it and on an American HD forum there was a couple of guy's complaining that the (street) exhaust was to quiet, I then found the race only (in USA) one- S&S part number 550-0788, hopefully not to loud, only just over 40 days to wait for the"S" to arrive now (it's bloody hard work this wait)

There is a part number for colour matched bags, so I guess you can order them. Would be many $$$ though.
I've considered them but I probably won't. I had them on my Moto Guzzi and while they look great, it reduced their utility as bags because the paint shows up every ding and scratch. Since I commute on this bike rather than storing it away to look at, that isn't going to work for me.

The taller screen though, Probably yes. HD do a 5.5" one. I'm waiting to see what expereince others have before I spend $200+ on one.  There are also aftermarket ones that are taller and wider. I''d be a bit nervous about the high speed stability of these, since they won't necessarily have been wind tunnel tested. and the screen mounts on the handlebars.

I agree Ross. With the screen I know Harley offers the 5.5". But it still quite narrow like the stocker. It depends if you're actually after some wind protection, or just want it to look "pretty" like a baby Street Glide. As it's your daily do you think a 7-8" screen with an extra inch of width or so  per side would work? After all the mini fairing detaches for a different look for weekend fun rides. 2 bikes in 1.

Too early to tell. Even with the stock screen, it reduces the wind pressure on my chest and torso compared to fairing removed. I'm keeping an eye out for people who have tried various height/ width screens.

I may even have a go at making my own with a sheet of Perspex and a hot air gun.

I take it off on warm days for some extra cooling ( of me) and I prefer the look without it.

I have other options for wet weather so that isn't really a problem.

Although I`m no expert I think the hot air gun would only leave some spots hotter than others causing discoloration on the bends, but it would be an Interesting experiment to see
