Anybody fitted a fairing to their 18 Streetbob - bikini, mid or full size and removeable and piccies pl?
Given the relative newness of the model , hard to find images on 18 Streetbob  of a non HD fairing
Prefer no fairing for cruising through hills. Need a fairing for those highway runs sitting on 90 km/ hr or more . I'm 6'1 and head feels bashed around after an hour at 90 km /hr  plus ( yes, I'm soft ).
I asked the dealer's spare part's man for ideas -pictures for something that looks good. He said  " look on the internet ".
Trying to avoid the standard removable HD fairing.

There are many that will work.

Basically any fairing with the correct headlight hole will fit, it's the adaptor brackets that change between FXR/Dyna/New Softail.

I literally put one on last night. Missus got a Street 500 recently and hated the fairing, we pulled it off the same day she got it and it's just been sitting around so I thought I'd see how it looks.
Used the original street 500 brackets, had to flip my headlight mount 180 degrees. Then made a small metal bracket to mount to the underside of my riser bolts. Pretty straight forward.

    Hi,
I use a Memphis Shades Gauntlet fairing awesome for general and highway use. Keeps the wind off the chest at speeds over 100km.

Check out their website as they ship directly to OZ. Check pic's out in my profile.

Thanks guys. I 'm 6'1 . I suspect it s not aerodynamically possible to have a smaller fairing that sends wind over my head.
Looks like the bikini ones will send it onto my head.
Thank you Birty for the photo . Looks great . I have the TBR pipes too and I like the look.
    Thanks Brash and lowrider.
Anyone got experience with the Road Warrior Memphis.
Be nice if the firms provided an aerodynamic flow chart.
It s function or appearance .
What would you guys choose ?

I actually only installed it for aesthetics, I hadn't even thought about wind deflection. I'm 6' 2" so should be in the same field as yourself. I'll go for a ride over the weekend and see if it makes any difference. As you suggested though, it will probably just go from hitting my chest to my face. Haha

i have looked into dart flyscreens for my lowrider but not sure which way i want to head yet, thinking may be something to push a bit of wind off my helmet.

    Thanks Bruce and Birty .
Dart looks a good option too ( despite lots of googling on HD fairings , Dart had never came up )
Aesthetics of Birty s looks great too.
    How to decide ?
    First world problem
