    Hi,
I own a 2016 Softail Deluxe in Houston and moving back to Perth, Australia later this year and planning on bring the bike with me. I've owned this for more than 12 months so I believe I can import as a personal import. I've been attempting to gather information in regards to what I need to modify on the bike when I return. I've read tires, lights, brake pads, speedometer (I've already swapped the US mph speedo to a combo mph/kpm HD unit so hoping this will be okay) among other items but can't seem to find anyone who has already imported a personal bike or information. I've tried to contact a couple of importers but once they hear I'm bring a personal import don't really want to provide much information. Anyone done a similar things bring a personal import into Oz from the US who could provide some information on their experiences? Thanks

Thanks. Got your PM. I will try emailing them although they were a company I’d tried earlier with no response but will email direct to the address you provided. Thanks.

Doug known for been slow to reply I have the same issues on occasions, this seasons ride was booked with him to come back into Fremantle , that space would be available in the container, it not a big hurdle getting your bike in as a personal import, cheers Keith.
