    So whats the CR?  Is it 9.75:1 or 10.25:1?  (whats the 'corrected' mean in the CR ratios provided)
    I ask because that cam is a about a 10:1 stage 1 cam best suited for Stock compression.
    And should'nt that setup be making 95ish HP?

    Hey Tussack, check this out, keeping in mind this is before the recent dyno tune.

    And Kinkade, it’s got a 58t rear, gotta check the front, but the guys reckon it’s geared pretty short, it feels like it accelerates pretty quick but really I don’t have anything to go by because I’ve never ridden stock gearing on a sportster bar a quick test ride around Springwood on a forty eight last year but it to me it feels tall, it’ll hum along nicely at about 130-140 no worries.

    Between the 570 jackhammer cam and the gearing it feels like it wants to be up in the mid to high rpms but I still don’t think it should be pinging like it does in the heat. Ive had a few people say “sportsters need to be revved! Don’t try and ride it like a big twin!” but i utilise the RPM’s and always try keep it in the fat part of the torque.

    For all ye who may be interested;
    Another dyno run done last week, they adjusted the timing by 2 degrees and it is absolutely flying, rides amazingly and zero pinging even in the Gold Coast traffic at about 35 degrees splitting through the traffic at a snails pace.

    They uncovered some more fuckery with my real wheel though so the drama continues. Treating it more as a project now, I seem to uncover new problems on a weekly basis.
