    Poor buggas loosing the lot all over, she tinder dry out there fella's, don't drop a butt, went past this one out past Oak Valley while riding the loop from the Ville, Woodstock, Giru and home today, the air is full off smoke from fires elsewhere as well.

    not looking good for a lot GM, volunteer here and it gets a bit toey when things get dry and windy around here over summer.but these areas have been bloody dry for far too long....no rain,prolonged drought and now wildfires....thats the shit end of the stick for sure.

    Super hazy up this way yestrday, thought it was a bit much for just the cane cutting.

    Lots of smoke up here to,but we have burn offs/hazard reduction burns this time every year.

    Well the fire is 3klm from us here in Sunny Coast ....reports have 10 homes lost and have numerous friends not allowed into the area.

    3km's is close pb,trust all is well so far.

    I wish we could give you some of our rain from NZ as it seems to have been raining most of winter here

    It still is very nasty here, fortunately for us we are South of the fire and with the winds being Southerly has blown it up the coastal belt away from us. We could hear it roaring in the distance . Twelve homes gone but thankfully no lives lost. Three kids are "Assisting police with their investigations"......

    Hey we are fine at this point its headed away but as you know things change on a breath of wind and right on que here it comes...
