Registering an imported shovel frame

Evening each, new starter here and this is my first post.
I’m looking for some info on what it would take to get a ‘76 shovel frame rego’d in Western Australia, the frame was brought from America, there’s no damage to the frame and nothing has been cut off it or welded to it and the numbers are still very readable so I’m just wondering if it’s worth throwing some parts into it or throwing it in the corner?
