Rattle

    Been hearing funny rattle on left engine side of the street glide when riding. Finally got around to checking it out today after a ride. Checked all bolts etc then tried top bolt on jiffy stand,( 1/2 " head)  Very loose. Think i did read someone else had same thing. Worth keeping an eye on. Cheers.

    Well done moik. Finding a rattle can be a tough job.
    I have one in my car but I am gonna wait for something to fall off before I investigate it

    yeah mate the wheel nuts are fine. The noise is coming from inside the plastic panel on the left hand side of the boot/hatchback.
    Had a look the other day but thought to myself...…..Fuck That!
    Its a 2016 Nissan xtrail and still under warranty but the last time I took it for a service I vowed never to go back cos they charged like a wounded bull.
    Does anybody know if that would still be covered under warranty?

    Funny things rattles. I could hear a new noise on my EG the other week, I thought oh no engine problem. It's the gear lever rod that runs from the lever itself back to the box. If I touch it it disappears, painful.
