Hi guys. A question. What's the difference between the Sportster XL1200C and the XL1200CB? I'm thinking the B might signify a blacked out engine but I've seen a 1200CB advertised with the chrome engine. Maybe the person advertising got it wrong? Reason being, the missus is keen on a 1200 Custom Sporty and particularly likes the fat 16 inch front tyre as opposed to the skinny 19 inch. Just trying to get our head around it. Cheers! Roo.

Hey Ted, you are correct. The 1200CB has a blacked out engine, chrome 12 inch apes, spoke wheels (16 in front) and was only sold in the denim black colour as far as I know. The 1200C is a more ‘traditional’ sporty, with mag wheels chrome engine and the sportster custom curved riser and low bars, but still with a fat 16 inch front wheel and in lots of different colours. Hey mate if she wants something other than black go the 2014 XL1200CA. 14 and up have ABS so a bit safer and it has the 16" fat front wheel.
