I have traded my wideglide in for a new lowrider S, although new bike is not due until the end of the month. I will have forward controls & a S&S 2-1 exhaust fitted. When are they due to arrive in oz? Anyone getting one?

It seems Mr Trump's America 1st may of held up my bike, as they have sold it locally due to high demand, so another 3-4 weeks with no bike- bugger, the plus side is it now is on a ship (4 week trip via Singapore)

I do like the look of that ... though I’d like to see options for replacing that style exhaust.

While the lowrider is taking longer than the dealer thought to get here they have let me take any of their 2020 demo models for a day when I require a ride, so far I've been out on a breakout and a fatbob, both quite different bikes, but the latest news is there is a lowrider s arriving next week but it is silver, the dealer said that they could swap the tins ie tank guards etc with their black demo bike to make the new arrival (silver one) black or wait a least another month for a black one to arrive, they assure me that the demo bikes paint is still mint, what do you guys reckon? Below a pic of today's fatbob

Mate, I’d wait a bit longer for the S.
I really like the look of it and there will be more reviews etc that may offer some new thoughts in the next while. And a demo ride surely is good to be sure before dropping coin.

Just saw this one at Suncity HD in Townsville with the 114 and Bassani Road Rage system. The black looks sweet as. I also like the 2-1 system on the S ... not so much the (Bassani that always seemed slightly short). Another month may bring more pipe options pending where you are up to.

I may look at a test ride myself in the next few months ... not that I’m looking. Just think it seems damn good. Love to make one a single seat.

I agree, wait for your bike.
With dealer swapping tins there is a chance of damaging or scratching something.

Yeah they are a sweet looking bike alright. I'm waiting for my son to buy my 16 fatboy-s sometime before xmas, will be the 2020 lowrider-s for me.
As grease monkey said, pipe, cams and forward controls and she be spot on.

Pretty confident the current range of 2018-19 Softail pipes would fit this wouldn't they? If so, there's plenty of options out there already.

+1 on the wait.  The S has far nicer styling (other than the obvious fugly pipes - and perhaps lower it a bit as that rear sits high)

I would wait,in the mean time you could do some more research on cams, pipes etc,you might end up with a better combination,
I would set that ugly rear number plate to the same angle as the tail light

Well I have decided to swap the tins (tank, guards & mini fairing) with their demo bike as it has less than 400km's on the clock and paint still perfect (bonus is the tank comes with flush fuel caps),the dealer assures me any damage caused from the change-over will be fixed at their cost, I really can't wait another 5-6 weeks for the correct black one to arrive, so either today or tomorrow the tins will be swapped along with forward controls, S&S 2-1 exhaust, black brake and clutch levers, smoked indicator lenses and stage one genetic tune, yes cam and full dyno tune to come (probably with the first service)

Good for you - share some pics so we can admire it too in the future. I’d be interested into how the 2-1 looks on it.
