Hi, I have searched but a lot of the threads are old with broken links. Has anyone bought or know of these bike lifts?

Yep, I have one. Awesome bit of kit, especially for the price. There'll be pics in my threads.
Dad has one and uses it for his Ultraglide with no dramas.

I'd grab the little scissor lift for the frame too

Cheers....I just downloaded some plans for a very popular one on the Internet as an exercise in costing the raw materials.... I got up to $255 in raw steel costs and that is stopping short. I recon the material costs alone for the DIY are about $350 - $400 and then there is labor on top.
All in all it makes a compelling case to buy the wholesalesuperstore one (even if it is a kit its still a 'complete kit')

I'll head down that path...

If the delivery cost wasn't as high, I would consider one, but delivery is nearly $400.

I have an IB Bike Lift. Not sure about price but the product is great for my Road King. EDIT: Oops...now $400.00

I have an IB style unit, but I’m an old fart now so want a table system for the height and better stability

Yeah I have one similar from eBay, good lift but I did a few mods to it to make it better. Good for the price though, mine is in use everyday

I missed the cheaper option @ $252.
John R what city was that $140 too.
The price I quoted was from the linked supplier in the OP.

Its $160 postage to Melbourne. Be handy if they had a local pickup point down here.

Hi, just something to look at is the weight rating, the cheaper ones 450 kg have a C- section or a pressed S- section frames and the more expensive 600kg are made from RHS.

Hey Tussock, that is a dam good idea, I have the same lift I bought new for $50 as the jack didn't work.That was about 8 years ago, so might be time to extend.
Then just need some steel, and then a welder and a book on how to weld, half proper..Agree Genius.

Son of a bitch! It's not real high but if you can make it longer I bet you could make it a bit higher within reason, that's pretty darned ingenious.

No need to weld, just use grade 8 bolts, but obviously welding is best.

Well I'll be dam-ed, am anyway, but drill and bolt is my middle name.
Am an old rigger from way back, building towers, masts, or any structure, which sometimes needed drilling and bolting up at heights.Have shitload of bolts, nuts washers in stainless.That's a pearler.
