Anyone have any issue with risers bought from ya local HD dealer where the chrome started blistering? I bought a set of 6" risers for the 2018 FXLR and within 3 months they started pitting or blistering. I took them back and got replacement under warranty only to have the second set do the same. The manufacturer supposedly told the dealer it was a maintenance issue. If it was then why isn't the other chrome from OEM doing similar!

I have the 4 inch curved ones, and chrome is mint still, going on two years old now.

A mate has similar 4" pullback risers and no problem.

I got a second set of risers same brand, distributor and style and same issue. HD Mackay offered a refund which I accepted. The folks [including the HD Mackay] that have looked at the risers have all agreed it is pour quality chrome work on them, except the distributor who says it was maintenance issue. I now have a borrowed set on the bike that were bought around 2000 and they show very little wearing or chrome peel. Thanks, Noddy.

Had similar on my deluxe, more comfortable riding long distance. No issues with the chrome.

Typical Harley for blaming others for sourcing shit components.  The ACCC needs to move on to the bike industry to start pulling a few manufacturers into line with gettng them to abide by the consumer laws of the land.
