    Hi there,
Checking in from the mid north coast NSW.
Just got my first HD and am learning the HD ropes.
Picked up a 2012 FXDC SG with 13k on the clock.
Previous bike which is still in garage is a 2016 Ducati Diavel which goes fricken hard but i am getting to the age where i just want to go chuggen out in the country and not feel the need to have to hammer hard everywhere.
A Harley fella told me the other day that HD stands for Heaps of Dollars and i can see what he means.
What i thought was a ride away nothing to do type of bike (which is what i told the wife) has already led me to, new Bandit 1.5 T bars, new PM derby cover, laydown rear plate holder, HD progressive front springs and new oil, 444 rears, Kury front pegs and heels stirrups + on order smoked lenses, front and rear axle covers.
Bike is very comfortable to ride and steers quite well.
Pipes sound fat but do pop on decel so would like advise on an easy to use tuner.
Not planning on beefing the mot up much maybe some cams down the track but would like to look into a slight rake and new rims next year when the wife forgets how much i have spent already.
    Any input would be great.
    cheers

Ge-day mate, enjoy the knowledge given freely here, which can be a life saver, the odd antics plus a laugh or two.
The last point is probably the most important, as adding the odd item purchased to make your Harley Davidson, even more safer (standard quote to wife ) sure adds up financially.
The main thing is to enjoy those lovely rides you have.

Yeah thanks Bullant, Tequila Sunrise I think.
With the tuner options has anyone used the Maximus unit, local dealer has advised that is what they use and they seemed reasonable priced.
    Cheers

Have the FP3 and am more than happy with it. Easy to use all you need is your phone, fixed my decal popping straight away.
