have you tried riding in 2nd gear about 2000rpm, drop off the throttle for a second, then full throttle.
if you feel or hear anything unusual, it'll more than likely be the compensator

i'm going with Daffy, wheel bearing and screen....... :-)

compensator....... what was the primary oil like ? gritty or dirty ?

No screen fitted .... Wheel bearings still in question ....
The oil wasn't too bad a little bit of a metallic tinge ,the drain plug was clean.

There is no need to ride the bike to hear the "chain spinning / sound of gravel in the primary" it can be herd at idle..
All I was told was that 2 mechanics rode it no time specified   , I had only spoke with the guy that books workshop jobs in. The info given back to me was to ride it harder and don't labour it , so ride in 3rd doing 60kmph and 80kmph 4th gear and so on

Hence the 2nd opinion I will be chasing at another Harley dealer

    Hey ralphski
I gave it a go , the bike took off ,no bang no clunk nothing unusual.

I showed the pics to a fella that's clicked on with Harley's , he said the compensator is in the starting stage of a part that will be replaced in the future with the worn ramps it will be loosing tension in the spring packs hence the vibration

Did you take the chain adjuster off and see if there was any play or unusual runout in the clutch basket or compensator?
Don't like to disagree with others based solely on a photo but the compensator looks to be ok to me, using most of its travel going by the marks so maybe the spring pack is a little on the weak side but it sure don't look like it would be altering the clutch engagement at the lever.

Na mate didn't take any parts out ,just inspected for signs of wear , I'm no mechanic but mechanically minded  and still learning Harley's.
How do I check for runout ?

Dial gauge, do you have a service manual?
Google will bring up vids etc but the manual is worth the money if you going to attack stuff yourself, mate I don't have all the answers but presented with a problem like this I just dig into it and work through it until find the cause, they just nuts and bolts.

There is nothing wrong with your bike Kris.

Do you hear voices in your head when youre on the bike?

Don't overthink it mate. Just ride it and enjoy it.

Do you have a mate that has ridden Harleys for a while?  Sometimes its worth letting them take it for a ride and see what they think.
