    Hi all,
Good Luck has struck and i have been able to get my hands on a 2016 FXDLS Frame and wiring..

I have a 103ci from a 2013 FDXF and was wondering if there is any hassles in bolting this engine straight in utilising the FXDLS Wiring.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know. - Everything will fit its more about the wiring im thinking about.

    Thanks,

    Jono

Wow, I would think there would be to many of those frames laying around without the rest of the bike.
I compared my FXDL with my mates FXDLS and essentially they are the same with a bigger engine from what we could see. Im not sure how much the ABS is connected to the CPU, that would be the only thing if your not connecting all that back up.

    Good luck, Leachy

leachy, can’t seem to find good frames with good numbers that are not written off.. especially Dyna frames .
If you know of any others, let me know haha.

I’ll see how the wiring goes, but as you said maybe ABS and a few other need disconnecting

    You should be right mate.

The only dramas you MAY run into could be with any accessories still on the engine, things like Oil pressure switch, CKP, MAP, etc.

I doubt they wouldve changed in the 3 years, but you can compare parts diagrams between the two years and see for yourself. If they are different, you can either buy the later model bits, or even cheaper would be to just re-plug any accessories on your engine to suit the harness. HD list all the plugs etc.
Im currently going through this with putting a Twin Cam 110 on a custom wiring loom.

John, motor and box are in and it looks like the deutshe plugs are a little different to the 2013 male plugs.
Will review the wiring diagram and see what my best option is.

110ci is also drive by wire throttle. But physically the 103 will just plonk in. The electrics side is the big difference.

Yeh it’s all installed, I have the 2017 wiring installed aswell.
Thinking of going TBW and swapping the throttle bodies over to work with the ECU and wiring.

Does anyone have an OEM fly by wire throttle body for a twin cam with injectors and sensors ?

I think this should work a breeze

I think it's a worthwhile thing to do, I never thought I would use cruise control but it's surprisingly useful.

Yes, keep the cruise control, one thing that is very disappointing about mine. Got it on other bikes and I cant believe its not standard on a Harley.

ok i got my throttle body ans sensor all sorted.
Got told by HD that they do not have a OEM cruise to suit. i think BS.

I m chasing a good auto sparky around brisbane west to work on the harley if anyone Knows someone

    thanks, jono
