I will be packing my Rocker into a shipping container with the house furniture.
Any advise would be much appreciated, I won't be using a bike crate just tie downs and maybe pack around it with padding like bed Mattresses pillows and stuff.
I am worried about rubbing the paint work most of all, will be sending by Truck or maybe rail 2000 or so ks

    Thanks lads

Call your local HD and ask for a crate.  It’s the safest. Shit moves all over the place in a container unless it’s packed chockablock full.

Mate, I shipped bikes to the other side of the world. I strongly suggest you go to any dealer and ask for a skid. They just sell them off for scrap. I gave the boys a carton of piss and they chucked in the tie downs, desiccant packs and even the cardboard cover. Trust me, do it.

    Yep Got it
Go get a crate, put crate into shipping container
Ride bike into container, then put bike into crate
Pull bike down Put lid onto crate
Pack boxiness on top and around bike box to hold her steady
and pack a fob with the bike I guess?

    Great stuff HDF crew again
