    Hi there,
have had 2 brake/tail light globes blow in short sucsession, 2 short rides but weeks apart.
Not just a simple element break but whole globes shattered.
Wondering if anyone else has had this issue.
Thinking it may be getting way too hot for some reason which makes the glass brittel and easy to shatter on bumps.
Was thinking about swapping for a LED unit but don't want to cover up a possible wiring issue.
Also error codes shows issue with front right turn globe but indicators working fine.
    any input would be great.
    Cheers

Put a new globe in it and check weather the brake light is stuck on.
Had this issue on my bike some time ago and the culprit was the little switch in the handlebar switch block. Yes, they do get very hot when stuck on.

Have a look if the brake light comes off instantly when you release the brake lever or pedal. My front was slow to release and was not fully returning, so would actuate the brake light when over 80 due to the wind pushing the lever in a smidge.
Had to overhaul the calipers and master cylinder to cure it

    All seems fine.
Ordered a pro beam LED low profile.
Should take all the guess work out of it hopefully.
    Now onto the new wheels!

in old days I used to blow a lot of tail light globes, then I changed to made in Japan globes and seemed to fix problem. that was on an old Shovel stroker. I moved to also having a twin cam dyna 88" & never blew a tail light globe on that road just on 95,000 the sold to a friend. used to drag race it ride use for everything. and the tail light globe kept working fine ( touch wood ) a mate had a dyna twin cam 88" wide glide and it needed a mew tail light globe all the time.
