To answer your first question Steelo, Paul showed me a method of just take the fob to the bike turn her to Acc. and the bike release from transport mode. Tried that but nothing, then googled and found turn to Acc hold and release both blinkers, but I still was in transport mode.
When we rolled her down the plank from off my ute the guys helping me asked me to start the bike up, I tried and away she went??
I recon were I may had gone wrong was after trying to release the transport mode, I needed to move the fob away from the bike, then return and try starting.
Any way bike made the trip with out a scratch, Cains roundabouts are like greased snot, I have gillies and Kuranda range, Atherton table lands, awesome rides up to Port Douglas.

To Answer Question 2. I would rather got to prison with George Pell and torment him every day.

I have transported my 2011 fxst, in my trailer and put in tranport mode. I have to read the owners manual each time as short memory. Then once at destination. Just turn ignition to ON, and it is out of Tpt mode.  I have also used thus method to push bike around garage if working on it.

Glad you made it safe and sound.
Beware on the range roads mate, very heavily policed, esspessially on the weekends.
Give me a shout if you want to hook up for a ride one-day bloodog.
Riding weekdays is a lot less stressful.
I'm away at work till first week in March, hopefully the weather will be better by then.
    Cheers
