    if in Victoria you use a Macca's drive through & use your mobile phone to pay , it's a $448 fine.

    Do they not realise having VICPOL hanging around eating Macca’s in between pinging harmless motorists will cost them in more overweight coppers?

    Wow - I would of thought it was private property. Does that mean they can book u in a shopping centre car park or in your owe driveway?

    Don’t touch your phone if driving in Victoria 

    How do you go with the app with your drivers licence on it?
    In SA we use the app mySA.gov, I pulled it out when I got my speeding fine and the copper said it’s fine to use

    I find it hard to see the difference with touching the card or touching the phone to pay, sounds sus IMO

    It has been taken to this level because of the few who disregards that law , they may be that person who drives over the top of one of us at the lights .how many of us has had a near miss because some shit head has been on the mobile. I have had plenty  our civil rights are slowly being eroded by the minorities  that just dont give a flying fuck

    Yeh I know the laws and penalties are only going to get worse but unfortunately I think it needs to happen, not a day goes by that I don't see someone using their phone while driving. And as a motorcyclist, it's scary to think how quickly and easily a distracted driver could kill one of us...

    The fine in QLD is now a grand, and new cameras are about to be rolled out that can detect if you have a phone in ur hand.
    I think being pinged in a drive through using an app to pay if absolutely crap.
    I believe up hear you have to be out of the car with the engine off, which is fantastic 40 plus degrees and or pissing down with rain.
