Up for sale is my Harley, selling for health reasons.

It started life as a Fatboy but has had a few changes through its life.

    Currently over 51,000Km

Flame Paint to Tank and Rear Guards

    Plenty of chrome.

Was an 88ci ( 1450cc ) until 43,000 kilometre mark where it was sent to Neville Lush Racing at Victor Harbour and had a big bore kit installed along with SE211 cams and adjustable pushrods.

I want a street engine not a race engine.
It went in at just over 60 HP came out just under 84 HP.

Fitted Love Jugs cooling fans at this time to assist keep it cool in Traffic on Hot days.

Handle bars are custom made to suit me.

Rear tyre and rear brake disc replaced within the last 6 months.

    Front tyre in excellent condition.

Recent additions were the panniers and the Meatballs springer front end. Has temporary front fender to make it legal to ride. Was going to set up stainless guard once I was ready and had the time.

I have always serviced it every 4000 km changing all oils and filter each time.

    Asking $12,750
    Price is also negotiable

    Not giving up
Just gone to 3 wheels but unfortunately not a Harley
Gone the Canam direction as it was half the price and I am working on retiring overseas in 2 years

Is the price in the ball park or is it no one is buying.
Anyone got any ideas on true value?
I was working off redbook prices
    *Private Price Guide $12,900 - $15,350

I know that is only a guide. I am not urgent to sell but not getting many bites and just want to make sure I am in the right price range.

No one is buying Dave. The price is determined by the market not the book value, its a case of how low you think you would accept for your bike. Try to take the emotion out of the process...oh and good luck

    Hi Dave.
What you could do is have something like a reverse auction on Gumtree and promote it this way.
Start off with the price you really would like and tell everyone the price is coming down
Every 2 weeks reduce the price by $250. Sooner or later you'll hit the sweet spot for someone. It keeps the advert near the top and anyone who might be interested and decides to wait, takes the risk

    Thanks Steelo and Paul
I like that idea as well.
It is advertised on Gumtree as well so I might redo the add when i get spare time and test it out.
    Thanks

    I’m ok with it
My knee gave way on the last ride so it’s been parked up since mid January
Health is more important at the moment when looking at retiring early
