Battery help

    The battery is on its last legs on my 1969 flh 
    Can someone point me in the right direction on where to find a replacement or model number in brisbane. Tried battery world and Wackers and they were no help  any ideas or model numbers much appreciated

    Hi Kanaka.
    About a month  ago I bought a brand new HD battery for an 84 shovel. It was $200.
    This last week I wanted another for the Mrs shovel. Harley shop was out of them.
    Battery World had a Dekka for $300.
    A Indy shop also had a Dekka for $290
    Hit the Jackpot with Marshall Batteries who had a "SSB Dry Cell, Ultra High performance HVT-4" battery for  $175!!!!!.
    It has 425 CCA, shitloads more than the HD and the Dekka ones, plus it has brass terminals.
    Was pissed off I did not know about them a month ago.
    You'd be mad not to get one if you can.

    Yep...SSB for me for the past 10 years or so.  Order online or via ebay.

    We hace a CAT dealer here that sell batteries, I have used them in my Triton, Ranger and Porsche, they are great batteries, I am not sure how small they go but if there is a dealer in you area, the cost of the call is built into your phone plan already
