Well so far some good results! Penrith beating easts is one. I'm hoping the Tigers go good today.

Little birdie tells me the Warriors are going to spend the season in Aust or until the travel restrictions in NZ lift. The show will go on....minus fans...minus home games for Warriors ...minus some players who have already got it

So now it seems the Warriors will honour to stay in Aust for next weeks game but have voted to return home after that to a two week self isolation period. That will put them out of the comp and lets see if we can keep NRL going for season 2020

I can’t blame them. They have families and responsibilities too and NZL ain’t immune to the China virus.
And I wouldn’t be surprised if we get through round 2 or 3 and that’s it for a while. Can’t keep flying teams around without risk and you can’t keep them away from families for an extended period.

They did offer to bring the family over but with Aust now doing the same as NZ its not an option

Admittedly the bumfinger post may have been in bad taste.
It is interesting to note when the Spanish flu hit worldwide from 1918-1920 and killed 50 million people there is nothing about that when researching NSWRL facts from the time.
Seems the competition went ahead as usual.

Tigers played well but Dragons bombed every oportunity. Bet the coach is shitting himself every time the phone rings, he has about 5 games to turn things around

I did not watch the game as only have free to air TV. tigers were rated no hopers by most pre season. so I'm just happy with the win, one of the new boys had a raw deal from saints & think he would be a happy boy tonight. I think I just seen a Ghost.

I saw a lot in the Tigers talent tonight but have to work on the little errors. Also like seeing Josh Reynolds pissing ppl off (and getting flattened by Sims a few times for it)!

So what is the parallel your trying to draw between 1918 spanish flu and today's virus and NRL?
