I have used Spectro SAE 75W140 transmission and Spector SAE 85 primary chain case oil for the passed 10 years with good results.

Without going into the technical details Motor and Gear oil have specific characteristics for the application.

Baron, I use the same Penrite oils myself and am real happy. Supercheap does good deals on the penrite a few times a year delivered to your door, Sometimes as low as half price and I order 2 or 3 of each.
