    Bloody nice....

Thx mate, I have noticed with excitement the tanks are original with the fuel tap on top of the lh tank so they will be safely ensconced in the spare bedroom for safe keeping and a set of early shovel tanks will adorn the bike.

STROPP  look's like 1970's super glide front end &disc brake, & probably the whole bike except the rear Gard not from the early 1970's. looks like the old round swingarm, with low shock mount & higher axle, and looks like the ratchet lid gear box ( best 4 speed & better than the cow pie  ).
What carb is it using? Also good idea if you can make a plate to go between engine cases and Gear box to give gear box more support, looks like someone welded that ???? on your side stand to stop side stand hitting the primary belt drive. you won't start it with the plug leads like they are.
Panheads are different to kick start to Shovel heads. I learnt to kick start both. I like Pans.
also looks wrong having a clutch cable like that on a pan, they should have the mouse trap on the frame with sold rod to the clutch & a short cable from bar to the mouse trap but just saying.

Yes aware of the different bits thanks, I did have a original 57 pan and a 37 knuckle a few yrs back, just going to get it going but need to strip it a bit first and get into it.

    Cheers for the update.
Looks like a bit of work ahead of you.
I've never seen a regulator mounted there before.
Where did your 37 knuck go to?
    regards B.B.
