This is probably the closest to a factory original evo Springer in Australia. It is on club rego and has just 20k miles. Original exhaust, air cleaner and cv carb which was rejetted for the k&n filter inside the cover and the slash cut mufflers currently fitted. In the pics are the original saddlebags, sissy bar and optional driving lights fitted. I have the factory handlebars, mufflers and indicator lenses packed safely away. The only non oem part is the dash surround which can be easily obtained. I just never got around to doing it as I lived away from home.

She runs like a Swiss watch and has taken me on long trips without any issues. The 1340 evo engine and 5 speed gearbox are simple and reliable. Like a nice old shovel head but with reliability.

$16,000 and bike is in Canberra

Looks like a real old gem Fatbat.
No doubt it qualifies for special interest/vintage rego too.
    Good luck with the sale.
Are the saddle bags quick release just out of interest?.

Thanks FC. Advertised it last night and deposit paid on it today with pending sale and collection on Saturday.

Bags are the original bags that either came with the bike new or purchased at the same time. They aren't quick detach and are bolted on.

Was a bloody good bike and will be sad to see it go.

Bags look like they are the same as the Nostalgia's (which cme after this one).

Well done on the sale (but it does look a great bike so I am not surprised)

    Thanks for positive comments, gents.

Buyer appears to have fallen through. Not necessarily a bad thing as I want a bike to ride before winter weather sets in.

    Bike still for sale. Cheers.

I love it, but can’t afford it sadly.

Comment though, it sounded like idling very low at start up? Hard to tell from a video on a iPad of course. I know the Evo motor needs a decent idle speed (1000 rpm) to ensure top end oil pressure. I always got the choke off as quick as possible and used the idle screws to warm up my Evo FXDL at about 1400rpm. Just saying,
