    Thats what I reckon too. I get something similar here but less than half that size. They must be big bastards.
    I watched a wasp / hornet thing building one one day on my garden table. It filled it up with spiders for the young un to eat.
    I broke them open a couple of days later and there was a baby wasp and  5 or 6 spiders in there. Fukin gruesome !

    I just broke into one of these mud nest things. It looks like a maggot of some sort but its not wriggling.
    Just in case anyone has nothing else better to do there is supposed to be a decent meteor shower tomorrow morning.
    I set up a deck chair looking east and a shit load of warm clothes. I set the alarm for  4.15 am.  Apparently its the remnants of Halleys comet

    Its a lava you moron! Lets hope you see something as the shower happened this morning....in case you slept all day tomorrow is the 7th..
    The Eta Aquariid meteor shower will peak in Australia on the morning of May 6

    Its hard to believe that an adult calls a lava a maggot and then wakes up a day late to watch a meteor shower that happened the day before! Maybe you should listen to the kids, they seem smarter.
