Couple of people also reckon you automatically get RE1 & SC1 :

I was under the impression that QLD licenses automatically came with RE1 and SC1 condition on them (and either SC2 or RE2).

My license has got RE1 SC1 and SC2 by default, as my genuine reason when I applied for it was target shooting (in a club).
I didn’t provide them with any letter from a landowner

Yeah, in Qld you have to have a "genuine reason" to get any license at all and proof must be provided at the time of application and subsequent renewals.   EG: a letter from a landholder that allows you to rec shoot and a letter from a registered club that allows target shooting. Police check etc. Pistol licence requires a letter from a pistol club and proof of membership, proof of attendance ,and that the calibre you want to shoot suits a particular discipline. waiting period 6 months before you can get your pistol. Rifles are 3 months wait. Pistols are not allowed on properties.
So it all unnecessary to me. Its already been done.

So you’re saying that with all the steps you have taken, that you don’t have an RE1 written on your license ?

I have a A, B, RE, and H   and have already jumped thru all the hoops and regulations including letters from land holders. so thios covid "legislation" ( if it really is)) is political bullshit. NOT NECESSARY.
In other words , in QLD you have already done the necessary proof or you wouldn't be issued with a license/
