It's a very sad day for me, I have come to the conclusion that I have to sell my trike due to medical reasons.
Almost completed, (just needs a couple of adjustments and a paint job) with big dollars spent. Stage 2 (Power cam) 2018 model converted to IMC brand independent suspension rear end for superior handling and comfort.

This thing rides beautifully although I have only traveled just under 1,000k's since the conversion myself.

As I said, medical reasons mean I may never ride again so I am looking for expressions of interest in the trike located top end of Sunshine Coast QLD.

You can't begin to imagine. The few times I have had this out has been absolute magic but I don't even risk driving the car these days and I can only imagine it's just a matter of time until they actually take my licence off me the way it's going.

Sorry you’ve had to make this decision. I can’t imagine how hard it is to have to give up riding and maybe then driving too.  Looks like an awesome project and trike. All the best with the sale and your health. Hope we still see you on the forum

    Mmmmm nice arse end.

Just need to lower the body a little and tuck the pipes up to make it a bit tidier. I went as wide as legally possible with the wheels, 8" rims with a 2" offset and spaced out the guards to cover.

Okay, so it seems no-one on the forum is interested in the trike, which is fine, but could some of you give me some guidance on what I should be asking for her?
The road king was $38,500 new (with all the goodies, odds and ends added after that) and the conversion was close enough to $18,000 by the time I got it through customs etc. When I was looking at doing the conversion, a guy in WA wanted $32,000 to do a similar conversion which is why I opted to do it myself. Then the 8" rims and tires (roughly $500).
But that is cost, what is fair?

Thats a tough one....guess it depends on your pain tolerance for the rip up.

Thanks Paul, yes it is a tough one which is why I'm looking for some guidance. It's not much point wishing for an amount and not getting anyone to even tell me I'm dreaming. I need to put a price that is going to get some response, obviously I'd like to get as much as possible but I am a realist, that's why I said that was cost price and asked what is fair.

would not say no-one is interested, I have been looking for a retirement bike for the wife, she has seen yours and likes it, she likes the blue??
Her Can-Am Spyder is 9 years old now
there is a 2018 triglide (bikesales) in WA for $39k, so I am guessing they would take a couple grand less
    SA 2019 $43k
    QLD 2019 $41k

these are not conversions so that "may" make a difference in pricing

Thanks for that, did not mean to offend anyone, just that I didn't get any feedback on price only comments saying they liked it.
I know I'm biased because it is mine, but there is a huge difference between a TriGlide and mine due to the independent suspension. You can actually do the same conversion on a Tri and it would cost the same which to me is pointless, because you would be better off selling the Tri and buying a 2 wheel tourer to do the conversion on.
Not saying I want a million dollars for mine, while it owes me over $60k I know I am not going to get anywhere near that, as PB said I am going to have to tear up dollars. The same with any bike and especially HD, you lose when you sell it's just a matter of how much.

Anyone want to make an offer before I put it up on the sales websites?

I have also found another difference between mine and a TriGlide. Mine has a 5" wider track which also contributes to ride comfort and road holding.
So if you've been thinking 3 wheels, go ahead and make me an offer, it has to go.

I wish I could buy your bike or offer you some comforting words JR. It's very depressed out there at the moment but by the numbers of people out driving and riding in country SA, things are on the improv. Good luck with sale.

Soapys hit the mark with what's out there, 35/37s , may get some enquires on other bike sales sites, tough times selling any rec toys.
I saw a Suzuki DR 650SE on gumtree a couple of weeks ago, garage queen, with 2000kms on it and 1.5 k of bling with it, bloke asking 7k , flipped him a message on his bottom line 4.5 was the return message, its in my garage now. CV 19 hasn't been a to good for many displaced from there regular work.
Good luck with the sale JR.
