    Maybe like others,
When I’m at the rememberance service, I’m not on the forum.
When I’m at the end of my driveway, I’m not on the forum.
When I’m watching international remembrance services, I’m not on the forum.
After that, yeah I suspect like  others, I got onboard looking for a happier topic amongst the living.

I’m sure most of us care about Anzac Day but we all have lives outside of the forum. Some don’t feel the need to post about everything or share their opinion about everything either.

And you know what? this is/was first and foremost a Motorbike Forum and I am seeing this Forum moving away from that direction and becoming just like Facebook.

I thought the same thing Mick and nearly said so in my post in this thread. I’m not on here as much as a consequence. It’s less about bikes and more about other stuff. Some of the people that posted lots and had good knowledge about bikes left too.
Hope you’re ok mate and hope to catch up for a ride some time when things settle down back to normal. Even before this pandemic organising and talking about rides was a big part of the forum that dropped off

No one ever got a contribution knocked back.
We let advertisers and personal ads on at no charge to broaden your purchasing options
What else can we do to make the site more attractive?
What would you like to see less of?
I do know that there is a lot less personal animosity between some members than when I first joined 8 years ago. Those who don’t have a sense of humour soon move on
We have lost contributors to personal HD Facebook pages and that’s ok.
We are in a state of flux. Not many ride reports or events. Hopefully that will improve.
Post something. Take a picture of a bike improvement or process or new product.
Lot of content from same contributors. Thank you!

While I don’t use Facebook, I think you’re assessment is reasonable.
The forum is becoming more sociable.
But, I notice when technical issues arise, help soon arrives too.
Some source of change might be that our bikes are more reliable and less people are doing their own work.  Those who do (probably mostly older members) have completed and are holding onto their collections.
Pretty much all of the younger riders I meet have late model bikes and wouldn’t touch em with much more than their bums and a soapy sponge.
