    Bought one of these today.
    Fitted well.
I wanted it so as I can run my Tom Tom. Seems to be sturdy looking enough. But $201 !!!
Made in coviland, do ya reckon they made a profit on it.

You do what you can. Does the plastic allow the touch screen on the gps to work?
If it gets a little unwieldy. You have plenty of options. Ram. Other brands have holders and clamps. Let us know how it works.

    $200, $130 on their U.S. site.
    Lucky it’s only money.

$200....  for a chineese bag cost 50 cents to make.  I would have one made locally from leather and embossed.

    Fukin Right !!!
Or maybe put the  gadget into an Aussie made sandwich bag and duck tape it to the  handlebars. With Aussie made duct tape of course.

Gee wello. That’s not like you. I Thought you of all people would be a bit more supportive considering the number Of problems you’ve aired and shared and questions asked. Proof I guess will be in how well it works.

i understand what ur saying but to me it just seemed like he  was asking and obvious question on wether he got ripped off or not, i would have been to embarassed to post it personally : ) .. and further to that i wasnt even going to say anything anyway until he posted that "its only money" .. maybe its just me but at the minute flaunting that you have more money to waste when so many people are struggling just seems wrong .
i dont mean him any offence as its his money and yes he can do with it as he please  .. just my opinion steelo : )

Seems like a lot to pay for a fabric bag. I guess if it has that HD logo on it that includes the HD tax.
It would want to be really sturdy and waterproof at that price.

    Oh ok.

Dont let them fox you mate, as they sit and watch their Chinese component TV or Apple phone and try to lecture people. Most the electrics on Harley come from China as well.

however my tv is an lg made in south korea , as is my samsung fone , and my  mazda and honda cars both jap .. i try not to buy chinese  as much as possible and even more so lately .
    however !
i ordered a drinks holder for the bike on ebay without really taking the time to look into it properly at the time $25 .. after 2 months and not delivery i complained and got a full refund .. it turned up today lol .. pretty sure its from china but no problem now its free : ))

Ok, I posted it to show how pathetic it is to pay big $’s for something that comes from China.
I had no idea it was manufactured there until I opened it when I got home. I DONT buy from China as a rule.
I didn’t want to bolt a mount to my bars on my new bike, my Electra Glide has this already. On which I have a HD material glovebox where the stereo would sit normally on an ultra or street glide.
13 yrs and 115,000 kms later it’s as good as new apart from being faded.
This is why I gave the new bag setup a go. It’s waterproof, has several spaces under the gps area to put stuff, and I knew it would be a fuss free fit.
Is it worth $200 ? No it ain’t. Not from China. Which was the point of my post.

i spose at the end of the day if it does what u want it to do then thats what really counts, but finding something that will last would be the issues if its out in the sun much .. ive bought several things in the past that i thought were decent quality only for them to fall apart after a while.
i rekon a lot of these upholsterers can turn out something much better that will last as well for less money .
i have a couple of mates that are more than capable of doing it but never really thought about it .

Get Beaglehead to make you one of his stylish plastic bag and duct tape jobs, seems cheap enough.

Fuck me what a fuckin laugh.
Spend 30-50k on a bike, no dramas.

Piss thousands up the wall through laziness and trade in a bike., all good.

Spend $200 on a HD bag with a made China sticker, your flaunting your money!!!
