I'd be VERY surprised if you get free shipping to AU from the US....I'd say pretty near impossible.  Shipping is at a premium at present due to the lack of flights around the world, AND it is taking way longer than usual.  You will also get hit with GST plus some import duty (so will be higher than just 10%). Do a comparison with an HD dealer as they just might be comparitive but shipping will be just as long.

Hi l. Good luck with your project. Have a look on gumtree as I’ve seen original tour paks come up from time to time.
Consider a quick release bracket and parcel rack. Then fit a soft bag. I know there are many times when I wish I was able to take away the weight and bulk of my tour Pak. Also if you have the engine guards Already you can get soft Removable vinyl lowers which look good and give leg protection in colder wet weather. I myself not keen on advan as you (to my knowledge) either don’t get or expensive to buy the passenger side / speaker bolsters which is part of ultra experience ;)

I bought a genuine HD one for my Street Glide so I can turn it into an ultra for bigger hauls. I had it painted and don't regret it. I bought a heap of extras for it including LED genuine lights that wrap around the back. I didn't use them - still in the box if you want to buy them.

And I went from my white kinda ultra to a harley paint set street glide again...same bike

shady1964, that looks awesome,  two bikes in one with the different paint sets.
I've got a 2017 SGS and put the HD king tour pack and the bride loves it. I've also got the soft lowers Steelo mentioned and reckon they're a good substitute,  easy on and off,  leave them in the saddle bag if you want.

Thanks doc, I couldn't go past the chance to purchase the paint set for a ridiculous price.....we think it's the only paint set in australia as they only made 150 in the world in 2016

This is my ultra street, Advan Black Lowers and genuine Harley tourpack  and quick release brackets. Lowers free postage delivered in three weeks colour matched perfect, tourpack three months to deliver have fitted stage one speakers and 12v plug in box, only thing with the lowers is paint is a bit thin chips easily but can buy four sets for the cost of Harley originals

I bought a CVO SG in gunship grey, and wanted the tour pak for when we did some bigger rides. I looked at the options and when you add in shipping vs buying from HD and they pay shipping, the price wasn't that much more for the genuine article.  Painting was the costly bit but at the end of the day, I have a bike that was $45K+, do I really want to add a cheap chinese tour pak with a paint job that's second rate?

I put lowers on the road glide I used to own. No tour pack. I considered aftermarket lowers but when you consider postage cost and quality of the item and paint, I opted to buy the genuine Harley lowers and had no regrets. Thin paint is not good especially for lowers which will get the odd stone chips due to being low.

Another thing to consider is do you really need a tour pack when you have two large saddle bags and you could put a rack behind a sissy bar and strap a big bag to that. I wouldn’t bother with a tour pack unless I was doing a lap around Australia or similar. Or lots of trips with a pillion.

Agree fatbat. Have done 72k on my streetglide with the mrs the standard panniers sissy bar with rack and a big mutha gearsack out back. Never wanted for space at all.

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it as yet … BUT , Free shipping IS included in Advan Black products to Australia … if you go on their site and check USA prices then convert to Aus Dollars it works out what they say .

I have a bit of Advan Black stuff … Side Covers … Stretched Bags … Stretched Fenders … Never had an issue , approximately 4 to 6 weeks delivery and Very Good Colour match and Very well made .

While Harley stuff is fine it is Crazy expensive compared to Advan Black stuff … Some have said the paint chips easy , I have not found that to be the case with my stuff … pic below is with Stretched Bags … do have a pic with the side covers in my Gallery but can`t work out how to upload / download them .
