Have a cop at this avatar that a "gentleman" of my acquaintance who now lives in East Gippsland is using as his avatar on a travellers forum. This fucktard is a Trump fanatic and a proper arsehole to boot. Sadly for my home state he is also an expatriot South Australian. Can you guess he is also the son of a career God Botherer?

Found out the hard way my mother in law is a massive trump supporter (I don’t get it.. we live in fckn Australia, who gives a shit about the US president?!).
Said something while we were over at dinner, she lost it at me and wouldn’t talk to me for 2 weeks.

More disturbingly the family tells me ‘oh yeah she loves him, best not say anything about him around her’, is that where we are at now? Pussy foot around people to not hurt their feelings?

MM, that's where it seems to be with the Trump fanatics. I don't get it. but this arsehole in East Gippsland is one who also goes off his tits if anyone dares say anything against the buffoon. Course I might be just a little bit guilty of dropping the occasional hint on a forum of which we are both members but the prick did the wrong thing by me so blatantly back in 2016 that I will never speak to it again. I love to see him go off his trolley though, but usually it's at someone else who takes up the cause.

good woman like that is hard to find, I would have done near anything for my MiL not to talk to me

I find Trump supporters and haters to be on a level keel, no ground given by either, only the degree of arrogance varies

He must be good. Yanks voted him in didn't they?.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases told the President: "This morning, 3 Brazilians were killed by Covid-19."
Trump's face went egg-shell white with shock. The blood drained from his face and to everyone’s amazement he collapsed on the floor.
Minutes passed and to everyone’s relief President Trump got up shakily and then sat back on his chair.
His staff was nothing less than stunned at this display of emotion from their President, nervously watching as he sat, head in hands, waiting for him to faint again.
Finally, the President looked up and with a shaky quivering voice asked Dr Fauci, *"How many people is a brazillion?"*

With regard to your first sentence, please tell that to our media who have to mention something (always negative) about him every five minutes. If he found a cure for brain cancer they'd still find something negative to report.
It's like the royal family for me, who fucking cares if one of their kids falls over and scrapes their knee but if they did it'd be on the news and every chat/panel show all fucking day here.

And to you last sentence/question about not hurting feelings, the answer is yes unfortunately. A large part of the human race really needs to harden the fuck up.

Thats a bit rough JD. Some people are just a little bit more sensitive than others. You might find you have to be especially careful when conversing with vegans and poofters and carpet munchers and greenies and the like.
It is very easy to upset that crowd.
