Turning a bike into a hardtail by removing shocks and putting in a metal bar was always a a silly idea.

Well, not so sure about that, this Bimota is rather confronting to the eye.

Do you have to be bald to ride one as well?
Reckon half the time I'd get on it backward. Would love to ride one though.

Or you could start with what was one of the prettiest bikes made.
reading on this bike recently, and the add says it was built for drags, with a lot of original gear is supplied, including the correct large fin engine and rear guard, cant remember the asking price.

agree,i know a persons propery is theirs to do what they wish....but sometimes i just wonder.was repairing a blokes tractor the other day,and knew he collected triumphs, gets the cows in on a t120.discussing the repair ,[ electrical ] he mentioned his bikes including a few tridents, and a genuine x75,was invited down to to check them out...havent got there just yet.
When you do, tell him Triumph made the Trident as the factory was going broke, the idea was... get rid of as much as they could ( one extra cylinder extra carb so on ) I had a good friend who was into Tridents . the electrics let him dow all the time, so did not ride them much. everyone to what they love!!

looks like thats what it was set up for ( light wheels , strut in place of rear shock ).

Your right, what the owner does with his own gear is his own business 100%.
But to get it to where it is from the one above, even if it is going to be raced and all the stock stuff is there [i do know of the bike] is a bit like showing Ford how wrong they got the GT40.
The guy could make a whole lot more, even if he just loosely bolted the stock stuff back on.[ i hope he does]

So far there's only one bike I'd pass on, that hideous orange county creation, and maybe the Amazonas, otherwise I'd gladly accept any one of the others into my shed, hell I've already owned half of them,

I like V Rod Muscles and I quite like the colour, from there I'll say each to their own.
