    dogs ! .. not TITS  ..
wife has been hinting quite regular about getting another small dog / puppy  .. after having to get rid of my last 2 cocker spans i cant say as im to keen to go there again .. was hard having to have to let them go.
but anyway i started looking on gumtree and im quite astounded that firstly there are next to none available here in perth but also the price of puppies has absolutely gone through the roof of what are available.

after at first thinking WTF !!! .. ive come to the conclusion that its a good thing , maybe people will take more care of their pets if they have to pay through the nose for them.. parents buy them for their kids etc only for them to be either mistreated or just another hinderance as they grow bigger.

i guess with more people staying at home now they are justbuying them to keep them company .. so what happens when they all go back to work i wonder.

The dogs home here, which is usually full of unwanted dogs recently found itself in the unprecedented situation of being completely empty. The Chinavirus was the reason given for this.
I got my current dog from there 13 years ago, an out and out pure bred mungrel.
Has been a fantastic dog, minimum visits to the vet compared to pure bred breeds.
    Mungrels are a good option.

Yep the virus put puppy prices through the roof. One wonders if we will see second hand dogs more of a thing in the second half of the year?
I disagree with the designer dog industry myself. I get ppl that need working dog breeds or for security, but that doesn’t seem to be the bulk of the trade.

Look up RSPCA or the like around your state. I watched my local one for months before an opportunity came up to adopt a dog. He’s family now. Our last three have come that way and I reckon they appreciate the second chance.

Some people deserve a real kick up the arse for buying inappropriate dog breeds.
No point buying a working dog if you work 9 to 5 and are not at home, the poor dog will go crazy.
If you live in Darwin, do not buy a husky.
Or if you live in Siberia like me, do not get a short haired fragile whippety thing and expect it to lead a happy life outside in a kennel.

    OK
Dogs, Puppies and dogs, are very close to my heart.
This is very inappropriate, but I'm putting it out there. My two best friends caught unaware, a night or two ago.

He is a cross, Staffordshire/Ridge Back/Pink Nose Pit Bull/( Evidently just found out/)/Cross something else, who is the most devoted, loving, beautiful friend.
The Lady, well, thats just my wife, and she is the most beautiful, anyway sorry, dogs, are so good. Some people can not have them, and some should not be near them.
Get a mung, I breed Staffies for years, and they are such a people dog, as many will know. What ever the fuck pup or rescue, or find lost with mange and fleas, and missing a leg, just treat them well, and they will always return that love 10 fold.
    B
Oh fuck sorry did it again, sideways, think I'm 21 again....

    Ha!.
Reminds me of an old 2 Ronnies joke, where a bloke crosses a Doberman Pinscher with a bicycle pump to get a dog that really puts the wind up the postman.

Ha, very good! Classic those Two Ronnies.
We have a Jack Russell bitch puppy, well, 18 months now so soon becoming an adult I suppose. Great dog, small but mighty, so active, kept the the missus and I fit by enjoying the great outdoors more.
