Interesting morning

    So I was on my way this morning at 7.45 to get rego check done on the SG.
    Riding up a little straight with slow car in front so pulled out  (big blat from V&Hs) went around slipped back in front and headed to upcoming round about.
    Took first exit only to see blue n red flashing lights, 2 highway patrol cars doing breath tests, shit!
    Pulled in the 2 cops walked up, 2nd cop pointing to the pipes to the 1st cop as he walked past to meet the car i had just rounded up.
    Thinking this is no good, on me way for a rego check and get pinged for noise on the way.
    Cop 1 was polite gave me the breath test and kept checking with cop 2 I assume to see of he will go further with the pipes.
    Was relieved when cop1 says to me after breath test " thats all today and thanks" and I was on my way very quietly.
    Bike passed rego test and cops gone on return trip.

    Good stuff mate. Always a relief to get thru moments like that unscathed. They’re not all pricks

    Overall - not really. All depends on which state and which region of it you're in.

    M$B would have filmed the lucky brush with the law, then posted it on youtube. Publicly disgracing the cop for being a nice guy.

    This guy was polite enough and just doing his job.
    Had a good opp to ping the pipes for sure but didn't.
    There is/was a real F^%$#@& C*&^% of a cop up here that smoked every bike for noise he came across.
    Think he's gone now but everyone up here knew of him.

    Had a similar thing happen at my last boozalizer test.
    Young cop started walking over and the Sarg sent him packing, did the test and then told me he stepped in because that young "pr@&k" (his words) would have booked me for noise.
    There are some good ones out there.

    Yep, pretty sure lots of people on this forum had heard about THAT cop.
