Tank Project

    Okay, so tank project for the Sporty has started!...Goal is:
    1.  Bondo out the dents
    2.  Build the tank lift into the tank (so will need to cut the front mounts and re-weld)
    3.  Coil will be recessed into the bottom of the tank so will never be seen (will be the exhaust side as the fuel pump is on the Primary side)
    4.  Smooth out the seams (would like to grind out but will leave the stock welds alone as far as I can so most likely bondo)

    Paint pretty much stripped and now onto the recess for the coil (those paint stripper wheels from Bunnings are pretty damn good - entire tank done in an hour - except the tunnel which I'll not strip but rough up for primer).  I'll have to test mount today tomorrow to find the spot with the right clearance to mount and allow the plug wires easy access.

    How hard can this be......lol
