Does anyone remember a bloke from Noble Park in Melbourne who had a twin engined Bonneville in the 70's. I saw it at a show at the old Tally Ho Boys Home about the late 70's. It was two 650 Pre-unit Bonny motors on a common crank and going to a standard gear box. Story was he would blow the jap bikes into the weeds but went through a clutch a week. It as well built.
the only twin i remember was " pommie " pete allens drag bike, but that was 2 bonnies in tandem.
This was two side by side. I heard a lot about it before I saw it in the flesh and took I it with a grain a salt. But as I say, I saw it at a show.
be a wide engine then ?
