Seeing as harley don't make the TSM anymore, what are we supposed to do if you can't obtain one? Most secondhand ones are fucked or will be not far from breaking. Is there a replacement we can use or a work around?

Had a browse on US Harley site. OEM TSM no longer available but they still show TSSM modules. Maybe HD Aust can get one here if they don't have in stock. Will cost you your first born but.

Definately not putting a tssm on it. I dont want the security. The issues with those things are shit lol and need to mortgage the house to fit it.

FYI , the TSM part # 68921-07 fits most model Harleys from 2007 up to 2011 , and Vrods
    from 2007 to 2017 .
Apparently there was an issue with supply of the components needed to manufacture them.

The only option until the aftermarket catches up is a used unit  (or TSSM), or look into rewiring the bike to
fit a universal indicator module .

    TSM turn signal module

    TSSM turn signal security module

ALL of the Harleys sold in Australia since 2007 model year had this TSSM as OEM (some ADR rule back then)

In the US domestic market only CVO models came with TSSM security modules as OEM.

Yank buyers had to pay separately for the dealers to fit the whole TSSM kit and assign it to the bike using the dealer Digitech hand held or trolley mounted computer. So hardly any US customers did !

So MOST second hand bikes from the US don't have factory security and have a TSM.

You can swap either way, but as far as I am aware it needs dealer workshop input to succeed.

I looked into pissing off the security on my own used US import 2008 CVO Springer in 2011, just TOO HARD BASKET

what is the fault/issue with your TSM,my indicators went a bit erratic a while ago, would turn on left side randomly and unable to turn it off, checked fuses and found a fuse with correded pins and receivers, a bit of contact cleaner, new fuse and dielectric grease cured the issue...if you have similar faults.'07 lowrider, sorry cant remember which fuse
