Well the site's been up less than a week, (I think the official launch was last Thursday?) and it's off to a good start.

Some good news, I emailed HEAVY DUTY about the site and they've offered to post my email to them in an upcoming mag, that will be great exposure!

now if we could just convince Heavy Duty to concentrate more on Harleys again and leave the silly customs to the other magazines we would have something worth reading again

Totally agree I don't mind the odd chopper but they over do it and a few more Sporty features wouldn't go astray either.

We have got pay TV and OCC to thank for that.

I have been a fan of the US version of HD forums and have often hoped that some one in this good country would pull their shit together and give some thing as good, if not better.

As for the comment re: Heavy Duty Magazine: TOO MANY PRETTY BIKES FOR THE POSERS AND POOFS! I thought the mag was for Harley Davidson enthusiasts.

Thanks for the positive comments. I'm sure given enough time this site will be as good as the US site, it may never be as big but for us Aussies it will be a great deal more relevant.

I edited my post when I realised that Rodders post was a new one (not from 10 years ago).  Forum stats are at the bottom of the home page.

Hard to beleive its been 10 years.
Its also not about quantity posting, but quality .
Any stats of how many of the first years intake are still around ?

I cant remember when I joined the forum, there used to be a members tab that you could see all the names and when they joined, I think 2008

this is the only HD forum I have ever posted in, there was a time that you had to log in near twice a day to keep up in threads

even the fights were graphic, good old days
