Step one/ I wanted auto tuner. Did my homework and ordered a unit. Received an email that what I ordered was no longer available. George form Tab Performance suggested the Power Vision tuner.
Step 2/ ordered & paid for Power Vision
Step 3/ loaded ( flashed) closest tune to the mods I have.
Rode ok, less decel popping and left rubber on road.
Step 4/ did a auto tune session and was supprissd at the top rev's I hit.
Step 5/ flashed new learned tune
Haven't ridden yet after new tune , but looking good.
A pic of first auto tune session
    Cheers

$680 for me. But that was a special price. If you mention forum you may get an even better price or at least a forum discount. I give big raps for George, very helpful & professional. Can't wait till Sunday when I go for ride with new tune and might do an auto tune on the return trip after pub lunch.

Slip in an update re how the unit is going, Im pretty interested in trying one of these.  Currently just have a fuelpak but from what I read these are the shit.   Paulybronco, you seem to know a bit about these tuners from what Ive read on the forum.  Mine is an 07 fatboy with air and pipes and thats it.  is there an advantage in one of these tuners for my needs? inb your opinion.

Do the AT process incrementally. 20-30 minute sessions focusing on a particular point each time.

    So low speed/low throttle
loaded up (gear too high/or some hills)
    some higher RPM stuff

Stay smooth on the throttle, the longer/quieter the road the better if you have access to one.

If you have done it well enough, your average learned cells should be bugger all (2-3%) when you have collected enough data compared to last A/T session.

Just a word of advice, while it's a brilliant tool in itself. Once you get out of the narrowband sensors bandwidth and are up it (high map/rpm) the AFR isn't what you would call fantastic. Confirming this part of the map on a dyno and addressing it with correct VE's may save you an engine one day.

For your average punter with the usual stage 1 stuff it's a pretty good option.

Good man FM. Even though you sell your own tuners, thanks for contributing.

I loved mine when I had it on the sporty.
I mounted it on my bars so I could have a taco, gear indicator, ltrs of fuel left.

    Very easy to use.

Im quietly looking for another one for the Ultra cause you can turn the exhaust flapper valve off with the click of a button.

Sounds like these things can do a lot more than I was aware of.  Havent got my hands on one yet, trying to find the best place to buy and price etc.  Anyone in Aus sell them does anyone know?

I believe the handlebar mounts for these guys wont fit on inch and a half bars.  Anyone got one of these fitted to bars this diameter and if so how did you do it.  ?

Love your work Robnicko. Love ram mounts.
These are good options and a little neater than the U clip mounts. One of the handlebar bolts is removed and a longer one goes through the ball mount.

Thanks for asking. The base is machined alloy. Very strong. Have a look at this link

    Just a thought Binnsy.
Get an X grip mount. Use it with the PV when you need it, Mobile phone at other times. Easy to take the accessories on and off.

I hope it works Binnsy but I think the indent in the housing for the bolt and fixture is too small. The size screw needed will more than likely pull straight through the ram mount. HD make a GPS mount (TimSG may be able to post a pic) that fits on those 2 screws. Else the U bolt ram mount also allows you to use the 2 screws only.

and also for attaching vehicle and personal security

Thanks steelo, thought that may be the case.  Tossing up between that one or this one now.  Goes to inch and a half too.   This one I can place anywhere on the bars.  Decisions !!

That's a nice looking fixture that.
And I stand corrected. There is a ball mount which may do exactly what you wanted
